A great piano performance of a Mozart composition, by itself, is not the thing that brings about profound changes in an audience, as most people would unquestioningly suppose.  Most of the power actually lies in a promise made or implied beforehand.  In everyday life, promise is often artfully hidden or implied and goes unnoticed. But every exercise of real power starts with a promise that is visible to anyone who is paying attention.  Whenever a specific power is demonstrated to a skeptic, the promise is always clearly stated:  “I will shoot an arrow through that red apple on that poor fool’s head.”  Or, “Eight ball in the side pocket.” Or, in grainy black and white, “We are going to put a man on the moon before the decade is out.”

Through a Seer’s eyes, the promise prior to the performance is an articulation of a vision.  Inside this vision, the force that actually shapes our surface physical reality slumbers like a sleeping beauty waiting to be kissed.  Seer’s call this hidden force Intent.

Whenever a person both promises and performs a Mozart sonata at a certain predetermined skill level, an accompanying non-physical process stirs to life. Motion occurs, like ripples on and beneath the surface of an ocean, because the underlying force of Intent has been summoned. Its awakening fulfills a deeper promise than the mere creation of the music. It fulfills what a Seer would call the hidden actual promise of the moment. The fulfillment of this extraordinary promise can have life-changing consequences.

When Intent moves, as happens when a great pianist delivers both promise and fulfillment, incredible changes are allowed to take place in the people present at that moment. These are changes in the tone, texture, and quality of the experience each person has of experience itself. This is overwhelmingly important because the state of being, the way in which people register their own experience, solely determines the quality of life. As an example of this, consider that no one, no matter how much they think they love it, is actually addicted to dark brown chocolate. The state of being that the taste of chocolate inspires is the thing that people are really seeking each time they take a bite. So it is with every choice in life; whatever humans may think they are choosing, they are only actually pursuing a desired state of being. Intent, from this point of view, is like the ultimate chocolate. New states of being brought about by the motion of Intent can be so remarkable that their existence alone constitutes a breathtaking contribution to the world. In the strongest Intents, new states of being arise in which the normally hidden deepest nature of a human becomes palpable. Seers think of this as revealing essence. These changes are the true treasures brought into the world though the use of personal power.

Personal power has always required at least a modest unconscious understanding of the forces of Energy, Intent, and state of being. Every deep human pursuit from ballet to architecture to martial arts has required some level of mastery of Intent and people have received indirect Intent training on all such paths. In this way, personal power has been kept alive and well for centuries, without any need for people to address the non-ordinary realm directly.

But the world has changed.

Why the Disappearance of Promise?

From the point of view of a Seer it is obvious that vital subliminal assumptions about promise and fulfillment are being erased on a global scale. Mailboxes, magazines and television screens are full of “promises”. This wild proliferation has not given humans more personal power. Instead, it has eroded respect for real promise itself. Promises are now often viewed unconsciously as traps, and the making or accepting of them is dangerous. The general population today is making far fewer promises in their personal lives than did the World War II generation. Promises have devolved into negotiating ploys that sound like the promises of old but which really have no substance. “I promise that if you work for this company all your working life and pay into our retirement plan you will be provided for in your old age.” Empty promises are symptoms of the widespread erosion of personal power and the lost vision of our world.

Returning to a world of promise and fulfillment requires a single vital concept, that of Energetically educated sovereignty over self.

Incredibly, it has taken 11 million years for humans to begin to grant each other full ownership and control of their own physical bodies, and to finally start to abolish slavery and servitude. Seers hope that it will not take the human race 11 million more years to extend this level of respect to the human Energy body. Though harder for most people to see, this second body is equally vital to the well being of us all. Through the eyes of a Seer, each person’s right to independent control and autonomy must be extended out to an energy field edge that ends at about arms length from the center of the physical body, in all directions. These Energetic rights must be held inviolate. At present, this is certainly not the case.

Why is Energetic Sovereignty so Important?

To a Seer, love is the dominant force in the universe. The goodwill shown by humans to their fellow men and women is breathtaking to observe. Unfortunately, at the same time, the violation of sovereignty over our individual Energies causes enormous unnecessary suffering every day and on every continent. As seen by Seers, people steal vital personal Energy from one another constantly, while no one objects. This behavior is the Energetic equivalent of grabbing a pound of flesh. People also transfer Energetic poisons, which are mainly Energy-recorded memories of negative experiences and emotions, into and out of each others’ systems. They usually do this with the aid of words, physical gestures, even gifts. Just as frequently, people allow themselves to become stitched and daisy-chained to other people, often to those they dislike or even hate, by means of rubbery spiderweb-like extensions of their own Energy fields.

Not all of this is done maliciously. Many Energetically destructive connections are brought about by people trying to accomplish good things, but who are unable to take into account the subtleties of Energy and Intent that so deeply affect humans as Energy creatures. This is only true because of lack of information. Anyone, at any time, can opt out of the current model of Energy-related behavior in our culture, and opt into a new heightened intimacy with others and with the world. The key to this is a new ideal, the Energy Progressive, which Seers view as one of the great hidden promises within the human race.

Energy Progressives are people who can exercise a basic personal power to regain compassionate and comfortable individual autonomy when that autonomy is shaken. They are people who are aware of simple techniques for disconnecting Energetically from individuals who poison them or draw Energy from them, or exert undue control over them. This Energetic independence, at its ultimate level of development, can eventually lead an Energy Progressive to realize a new type of connectedness, an allness. It gives a deeper access to what Seers call Mysterium Tremendum, the total human experience.

Energy Progressives have a capacity to gradually and safely break down denial. They become comfortable with the idea that the human Energy field is actually there; that it is not a fantasy. They realize that a familiarity with Energy and Intent can be tremendously supportive of other paths. Energy Progressives are capable of engaging the Energy that affects their lives without being overwhelmed by the temptation to become lost in psychological storytelling. This temptation arises incredibly easily when dealing with a medium like Energy, which is as easy to project onto as a page in a Rorschach inkblot test. Most importantly, Energy Progressives can develop entirely new and amazing forms of human connection through the conscious inclusion of Energy bodies, with their vast powers to communicate and to merge, within the relationship process. They can do all this, and more, because they realize that there is a category of Energetic awareness that is being overlooked in our society.

People don’t need an expert ability to visually see into non-ordinary worlds or to accurately tell the future in order to reawaken personal power.  The average person needs nothing more than a basic understanding of an internal “sense of Energy” that everyone possesses.  A sense of Energy is the capability within each person to feel Energy-based changes, such as the sliming effect of an unpleasant phone conversation, or the repulsion that flashes down the spine when an unsafe outsider crosses into personal space, even when the invader hasn’t taken a physical step closer.  This same sense opens a world of delicate nuance, and the enjoyable recognition of subtle signals that pass between friends and lovers.  With training, a “sense of Energy” will allow a person to feel these things and respond effectively to them, even though that person is not directly seeing the actual motion of Energy itself. Once a person understands that a second body, an individual Energy body, exists and is literally a part of each individual, he or she can use the “sense of Energy” to infer accurately what cannot be seen directly.  Energy Progressives can easily take much better care of themselves and others than most humans are doing now.

Of even greater importance is the capacity of a person with an awakened “sense of Energy” to express love more vividly and to create new levels of intimacy that are otherwise impossible. The realm of Energy is the realm of relationship.  The inclusion of Energy as a conscious part of human nature allows people to become more creative performers in the art of life itself, to add to the beauty of a piano performance, a dance, lovemaking, or the design of a building.  When deliberate awareness of the human Energy body is added to human interaction, the potential for fun, for awakening, for sharing of experience, becomes almost unlimited.
